Criteria for JEPPCA Members
a) Submission by JEPPCA Trustee/Member, of an accomplished recommendation or endorsement form
Membership-Endorsement & Commitment as Member
b) Due-diligent investigation and research, based from available records of Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and/or similar labor
courts ; Other members are free to share verifiable information or records they have, about the agency;
c) Recommended-Agency to fill-out the Japan placement-questionnaire
Responses to the questionnaire will provide information and clues, as to the agency’s best practices and how the Owner is managing an overseas placement business
d) Board/Trustees’ deliberation and resolution, accepting or not accepting the endorsed Agency
e) Accepted agencies, will receive Membership-Invitation and Acknowledgment from JEPPCA Board.
The Pre-Membership and Post-Membership mechanics :
1. A JEPPCA Trustee can recommend or endorse up to 2 prospect-agencies; A non-Trustee can recommend 1 agency.
2. JEPPCA’s Legal Committee or any designated association representative, will obtain information from POEA and other sources, as to each endorsed agency’s records
3. Records will include information regarding pending administrative or criminal case/s filed against the agency
4. Agency with docketed, pending cases involving money claims (illegal fee-charging activities, exorbitant fee-collection), administrative charges such as re-processing, misrepresentation and other serious recruitment violations, will be screened out. It shall likewise be in the “watchlist” of JEPPCA, and its sister-association (ANZAEPP).
5. Membership application of an Agency with any other case, decided or waiting to be adjudicated, will be re-evaluated.
6. Evaluation and re-evaluation of agencies, even after they have been accepted as members, shall continue. Agency or agencies, which will be proven to have violated any of the Business Covenants before or after they are accepted as JEPPCA members (or proven guilty of serious recruitment violations) will be in the “watchlist” of JEPPCA and its sister-association (ANZAEPP), and will not be invited to participate in similar business undertakings organized or co- organized by any of the associations.
7. Accepted members, shall have immediate access to facilities, information and files of JEPPCA. They are likewise privileged to participate in JEPPCA’s learning programs, and join any marketing & client-search programs of the group, in accordance with JEPPCA Covenant. However, said new members, during their first (1st) year with JEPPCA, shall not be included in any agreed “Job order-sharing” system of the association.
