Public Partnerships
This collaboration with the national government has two clear and concise goals:
1.) To help the government disseminate accurate information on proper overseas employment procedures for both sending agencies and overseas worker applicants.
2.) To fight against illegal recruitment and human trafficking.
JEPPCA initiated a learning project in tandem with multiple government departments called the “Basic, Must Know, Winnable (BMW) Guide for Overseas Foreign Workers (OFW).
This project serves as a support tool for anyone looking to work abroad. Some of the supporting mechanisms provided by the BMW program are as follows: 1.) important reminders on safe overseas migration processes, 2.) job application requirements, 3.) country specific migration processes, 4.) tips on CV writing, and 5.) interview preparations, among others.
At present, the BMW program is holding orientations and job fairs all over the country in cooperation with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and the city municipal government offices.
