ASAKA Cooperative actively accepts and supports foreign technical intern trainees and is working to further develop the business of its members.

The Manufacturing Services Cooperative is a supervising organization based in Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture. We have received and supported a total of 400 Chinese technical interns for 15 years from the establishment of the union. Taking over the experience and know-how accumulated from 2018, our organization have been redesigned into a union specializing in the acceptance of Vietnamese technical interns. Iwaki City is known for its mild climate in Fukushima Prefecture, but its warmth is not only climate. The people who live in Iwaki City are also all kind and warm. Our manufacturing service cooperative are supporting the acceptance of technical interns who are rooted in the area so that we can be a bridge between the people of Iwaki City and the technical interns.       See the rules governing the operation of the work of supervisory bodies here.

The technical intern training system accepts foreign nationals who have been granted a status of residence based on legal procedures as a technical intern trainee to a Japanese company, learns advanced technology, skills, and knowledge, and makes them useful for economic development in their home country for the purpose of "international cooperation and support". We operate this technical internship system in an “appropriate”, “trustful”, and “safe” manner, and we are working with the philosophy of contributing to the “human resource development” that underpins the economic development of each country. In addition, we have mainly conducted "acceptance of caregiving technical interns" based on our experience of operating nursing care facilities and home medical care business for many years. However, we often receive requests for other occupations, and now we are also supporting the acceptance of trainees in the fields of automobile maintenance, construction-related, agriculture (institutional horticulture). Through the acceptance supervision of technical interns, we will provide diligent information, appropriate advice and support so that we can contribute to the safe and secure corporate management of union members in each region.
