When speaking with a partner at work (such as a company or corporation), it is common to attach "San" to the surname.

【Example】

When you speak a senior at work, "surname + san" is common, but if you speak to a person who is in a senior position, they may only be addressed with a title. For example, president (Shachou), department manager (Buchou), factory director (Koujouchou), etc. More often than not, their surname should not be used.
